State Route 335 (SR 335) is a east–west state highway located entirely within Jackson County in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. It connects Jefferson to Nicholson. Route description SR 335 begins at an intersection with SR 15 Alt./ SR 82 (Sycamore Street) in Jefferson. The highway travels to the east, through rural portions of Jackson County. At Yz Sailor Road, the name changes from Danielsville Street to Brockton Road, and at Rabbit Run it becomes Jefferson Drive until it meets its eastern terminus, an intersection with US 441/ SR 15 (Main Street) in Nicholson. Here, the roadway continues as Mulberry Street. SR 335 is not part of the National Highway System, a system of roadways important to the nation's economy, defense, and mobility. Danielsville, Georgia
Danielsville is a city in Madison County, Georgia, United States. The population was 560 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Madison County. History Danielsville was named for General Allen Daniel (1772-1836), Major-General of the Fourth Division of Georgia Militia 1812-17 and both state senator and representative of Elbert and Madison Counties, and Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives in 1822. His father was at one time thought to be a Captain Allen Daniel of Virginia, a veteran of the American Revolutionary War, but this has been disproved. In 1812, Danielsville was designated seat of the newly formed Madison County. Danielsville was incorporated as a town in 1817 and as a city in 1908. Jefferson is a city in Jackson County, Georgia, United States. The population was 9,432 at the 2010 census, up from 3,825 at the 2000 census. As of 2019 the estimated population was 12,032. The city is the county seat of Jackson County. History Jefferson was founded in 1800. That same year, the seat of Jackson County was transferred to Jefferson from Clarkesboro. Nicholson is a city in Jackson County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1,696 at the 2010 census, up from 1,247 at the 2000 census.
